Let your mind wander literally
Walking has been shown to provide many health benefits. But one benefit I have not seen many people mention about walking is the improvement to our creativity.
Over the past few months, I have experienced so many instances of being stuck on problems and was prepared to settle with a subpar solution.
Only to realise a day or two later after going for a wander outside. That, there were much easier and trivial solutions to my problem.
And the weird thing is, I’m not wandering around for hours. These solutions come to me within 10 minutes of walking.
So the next time you’re stuck trying to come up with a solution to a problem. Or the solution just “doesn’t feel right”.
Walk on it.
